KPI’s For The HR Function

KPI’s should measure the critical success factors of the HR function in the organisation (what HR
must be good at in order to succeed).

For each stage of the HR cycle, there can be KPI’s.

  1. Recruitment
    - Cost per employee hired
    - Female to male ratio

  2. Training and development
    - Average feedback score from training feedback forms
    - Amount spent per employee

  3. Performance measurement
    - How many as a % of action plans were agreed on time

  4. Motivation
    - Employee turnover rate
    - Employee productivity
    - Employee absenteeism
    - Employee satisfactions scores

  5. Reward
    - Average pay per job comparing females to males
    - Basic pay in comparison to competitors
