(a) Requires candidates to explain what is meant by intention to create legal relations.

4–5 marks 
A clear, concise explanation, perhaps citing cases or examples.

2–3 marks 
A clear understanding, but perhaps lacking authority or examples.

0–1 mark 
Very unbalanced, or may not deal with any of the required aspects of the topic. Alternatively, the answer will demonstrate very little, if any, understanding of what is actually meant by the term.
