Question 4a
Examiners Report

The first 15 mark question examined the balanced scorecard. This was a purely written question. Part (a) asked for a description of the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard.

This was worth 6 marks and tested pure knowledge. It was generally well answered and if anything, some candidates went overboard and talked extensively about the balanced scorecard as a whole rather than sticking to the question.

This caused them to waste valuable time.
