Some of the features of PRINCE 2 are:
PRINCE2 enforces a clear structure of authority and responsibility on the project team.
It includes different types of plans ensuring that all the participants in the project have a clear understanding of the tasks to be completed, the relationships between them and their roles in the tasks' completion.
It contains several quality controls.

Managing stage boundaries - It ensures that all planned deliverables are completed as the project progresses.
